Dear Friends‚
On behalf of my colleagues of the food safety administration of 2024‚ I have been tasked this afternoon to deliver our vote of thanks and express our greatest gratitude in firstly inviting us as food safety experts to Japan and learn and experience the Japanese system of food safety administration and now graduating us as better experts in this field.

Sir ISAAC NEWTON once said and I quote gIf I have seen further it is by standing on shoulders of Giantsh and Japan is a giant who has let us seen more in terms of food safety administration and from each one of us‚ we thank you for the great insights into Japanfs system and also great advice on how to do better by implementing best practices to improve food safety in our various countries by implementing our plans of action within the next few years and make it be successful.

Site Training 1
For some of us‚ this would have been the first time to go abroad while some it would have been a first official engagement abroad‚ and I know that all of us here had truly enjoyed our six weeks of training here in Japan‚ and we have nothing but only good memories and wished would have more time to learn. However sadly as they say‚ gAll good things must come to an end.h

To our facilitators‚ this is not the end but is a beginning of more great networking and knowledge sharing for us‚ and since we have formulated a bond within the group‚ there would definitely a lot of knowledge sharing in the future in terms of developments in food safety.

Site Training 2
Lastly on behalf of my colleagues I would like to seek your forgiveness‚ should some of our ways‚ attitudes or words would have upset or offended you during our short stay here and we surely apologise for any wrong doings. However‚ we wish nothing but the best in future trainings for other participants to come and learn not only food safety but other courses too offered by JICA. We would surely be glad to come back again should we get another opportunity in the future.

With these few words I once again say gARIGTOU GOZAIMASUh and wish you all the best in the future and preseasons greeting of a merry Christmas and a prosperous 2025. I would like to ask my colleagues to express their thanks in the usual manner.
