Nine trainees from nine countries (Albania‚ Angola‚ Barbados‚ Ethiopia‚ Fiji‚ Papua New Guinea‚ Sierra Leone‚ Sri Lanka‚ Togo) gathered at JICA Kyushu in Kitakyushu for about two months from Oct.14th. to Dec.4th‚ 2024. Honorable Mr. GOTO‚ Director General of JICA Kyushu Center‚ Mr. ODAWARA‚ Senior Managing Director of KITA‚ and Distinguished guests‚ respected trainers‚ fellow participants‚ ladies and gentlemen‚
It is both an honor and a privilege to stand before you today to deliver the closing remarks on behalf of all participants as we mark the conclusion of this impactful two months training program on Renewable Energy in the Grid with a special focus on photovoltaic systems here in Japan.
First and foremost‚ we extend our deepest gratitude to Mr. Goto the Director General of JICA Kyushu Center for taking the time to join us today. Your presence and inspiring words have reaffirmed the importance of renewable energy as a cornerstone for global sustainability.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the people of Japan‚ JICA‚ KITA and all the organizers‚ trainers‚ and contributors who made this program a success. This training has been an invaluable experience‚ one that has expanded our understanding of renewable energy and its critical role in a sustainable future.
More than that‚ this program has shown us the possibilities of what can be achieved when technology‚ policy‚ and commitment come together. Japan’s example of resilience and innovation in renewable energy is truly inspiring. It motivates us to implement similar strategies back home‚ where the transition to cleaner‚ greener energy is not just a goal but a necessity.
This experience has also brought us together as a global community of like-minded individuals. Each one of us has contributed unique perspectives‚ and we leave here enriched by the diversity of ideas and experiences shared. The friendships and networks we have built are a reminder that the journey toward renewable energy is a collaborative effort.
To the JICA program officer Ms. Ogawa‚ the course leader Mr. Nakamura‚ and training coordinator Ms. Yanase‚ we are immensely grateful to your unwavering commitment and seamless coordination throughout these two months. Your efforts ensured that every aspect of this program was well organized‚ insightful and impactful.
To all the trainers thank you for your dedication‚ patience‚ and the wealth of knowledge you have shared with us. To the people of Japan‚ JICA‚ KITA‚ thank you for your warm hospitality and for hosting us in this beautiful country.
Finally‚ to my fellow participants‚ it has been an honor to share this journey with you. Let us take the lessons from this training and turn them into actions that make a difference in our communities and beyond.
