Ten trainees from ten countries (Bangladesh‚ Egypt‚ Fiji‚ Montenegro‚ Nigeria‚ Pakistan‚ Rwanda‚ Senegal‚ South Africa‚ Turkey) gathered at JICA Kyushu in Kitakyushu for about 40 days from Jan.29th. to Mar.8th. 2025. Training on energy use was carried out.

On behalf of my team members‚ it is my great pleasure to deliver this farewell speech at the conclusion of this EE&C training program. The journey we’ve undertaken throughout this program has been one of knowledge sharing‚ exploration of technology and innovation‚ cultural exchange‚ and most importantly‚ the opportunity to make new friends. It has also been a chance to understand‚ appreciate‚ and engage with Japanese society.

Site Visit 1
I must take a moment to acknowledge the exceptional coordination of this program. We give thanks and appreciation to our Course Leader Morinaga-san‚ Coordinator Aratake-san‚ Program Officer Ogawa-san and senior advisor Dr. Yoshida-san‚ for their hard work‚ dedication‚ and invaluable guidance. Your efforts have made this training both enjoyable and rewarding. Subarashii!

Site Visit 2
Thank you for enabling these vital cooperation programs between our countries and Japan. We also deeply appreciate all the staff and members of JICA‚ KITA‚ and the various organizations and companies that have partnered to make this program possible.
Finally‚ we want to express our profound thanks to the people of Japan. Throughout our stay‚ we have experienced firsthand how the people here go above and beyond to help those in need. The kindness and generosity extended to us have been truly appreciated by all of us.
Should we have caused any misunderstandings due to language or cultural barriers‚ we ask for your forgiveness.
