Mar.7‚ 2025 Closing Ceremony

Participant:Mr. SEAN Sitha (from Cambodia)

Ten trainees from eight countries (Algeria‚ Azerbaijan‚ Cambodia‚ Ethiopia‚ Indonesia‚ Laos‚ Saint Christopher and Nevis‚ Yemen) gathered at JICA Kyushu in Kitakyushu for about one month from Feb.2nd. to Mar.8th. 2025. Training on water environment administration was carried out.

First of all‚ on behalf of all the participants and myself‚ we would like to express our deepest appreciation to JICA for organizing this training program on Water Environment Administration (Water Pollution Prevention / Wastewater Treatment / Water Resources Conservation)‚ an important training course for our country.

We have learned and gained a lot of knowledge and experience from Japan in water quality management and monitoring‚ water pollution prevention‚ wastewater treatment processes‚ water sample analysis‚ and environmental law aspects.


Site Visit
We would also like to thank OGATA san of KITA for successfully leading and coordinating this training course. Special thanks to YAMANE san and GOTO san for helping to coordinate language translation both in the classroom and at the sites visited‚ and for facilitating our accommodation at both the JICA Kyushu Center and JICA Tokyo Center.

We would like to thank all the lecturers and stakeholders who shared their excellent presentations‚ ideas‚ discussions‚ and useful information for us to complete this training program.

Once again‚ I extend my thanks to the Embassy of Japan and JICA program for this valuable opportunity to jointly initiate new approaches and technologies for environmental pollution prevention and sustainable development. We look forward to making positive differences together‚ for Cambodia and beyond.
