Konichiwa / Good afternoon
It is a great honor and privilege for me to stand before you today on behalf of all the participants of the Water Environment Administration Training Program conducted from January 28 to March 2‚ 2026.
At the outset‚ I would like to express our sincere and heartfelt gratitude to the Government of Japan and the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) for providing us with this invaluable opportunity to enhance our knowledge and professional capacity in water environment administration.

The site visits to water purification plants‚ sewage treatment facilities‚ environmental monitoring centers‚ local government institutions and private manufacturing factories were particularly enlightening. They allowed us to observe firsthand the integration of policy‚ technology‚ and community participation in achieving sustainable water management. The visit to the Minamata Disease Museum was especially meaningful‚ reminding us of the importance of environmental responsibility and preventive governance.
Beyond technical knowledge‚ we have also learned valuable lessons from Japanese culture — discipline‚ punctuality‚ teamwork‚ respect for rules‚ and strong commitment to quality. These principles are equally important for effective environmental administration.

Practical Training
This program has not only enhanced our professional competencies but has also built strong friendships among participants from different countries. The exchange of experiences and perspectives has broadened our understanding of global water challenges and reinforced the importance of international cooperation.
Finally‚ on behalf of all participants‚ I would like to reaffirm our sincere appreciation to JICA‚ KITA‚ Ogata san‚ Goto San‚ Yamane san‚ all lecturers‚ and the entire organizing team for your unwavering dedication and support.
We leave Japan with gratitude in our hearts‚ strengthened professional capacity‚ and a shared vision for sustainable water environment management.
