Distinguished guests‚ respected representatives of JICA and KITA‚ dear lecturers‚ representatives of the organizations that welcomed us during our technical visits‚ and my fellow participants.
It is a great honor and a true privilege to stand before you today on behalf of all the participants of the Practical Integrated Water Resources Management to Resolve Water-related Issues training program.
First of all‚ we would like to express our deepest gratitude to JICA and KITA for organizing this outstanding program and for believing that investing in people is one of the most effective ways to build a more sustainable future.

To Mr. Ogata‚ thank you for your exceptional leadership‚ unwavering support‚ and genuine dedication throughout this journey. More than teaching us about Integrated Water Resources Management‚ you challenged us to think critically‚ inspired us to believe in our potential‚ and encouraged us to become better professionals‚ better leaders‚ and better agents of change. Your passion‚ wisdom‚ and kindness have left a lasting impact on all of us‚ and we will always remember you with deep gratitude and respect.

To Ms. Kawano‚ thank you for your thoughtful coordination and for ensuring that every part of this program ran so smoothly. Your dedication behind the scenes allowed us to focus completely on learning and making the most of this incredible experience.

To Ms. Yamane‚ thank you for being with us from the very beginning and for taking such wonderful care of us throughout this journey. Beyond interpreting‚ you became a constant source of support‚ helping us feel comfortable‚ understood‚ and at home. Your patience‚ kindness‚ and genuine care made this experience even more meaningful‚ and we will always remember your warmth with gratitude.

We are also sincerely grateful to every lecturer‚ researcher‚ engineer‚ organization‚ and company that generously shared their expertise and welcomed us into their facilities. Visiting dams‚ water treatment plants‚ desalination facilities‚ groundwater projects‚ environmental education centers‚ and many other remarkable sites that firsthand allowed us to witness how innovation‚ science‚ and good governance come together to solve real water challenges. These firsthand experiences have been invaluable and will remain with us throughout our professional careers.

This program has been much more than a technical training course.

Over these weeks‚ we have exchanged experiences from different countries and cultures‚ learned from one another‚ challenged our perspectives‚ and discovered that although our nations face different realities‚ we are united by a common purpose: ensuring that water remains a source of life‚ opportunity‚ and sustainable development for future generations.

Japan has also taught us lessons beyond the classroom. We have been deeply inspired by its culture of respect‚ responsibility‚ discipline‚ hospitality‚ and commitment to excellence. These values are reflected not only in its advanced technology‚ but also in everyday actions and in the way people care for their communities and natural resources.
As participants‚ we return home carrying much more than new technical knowledge. We return with new friendships that cross continents‚ stronger professional networks‚ renewed motivation‚ and a greater sense of responsibility.
Each of us has prepared an Action Plan‚ but today‚ I believe we also leave with something even more important: a commitment. A commitment to apply what we have learned‚ to share this knowledge with our colleagues and communities‚ and to become agents of positive change in our respective countries.

On behalf of all the participants‚ I would like to sincerely thank every person who made this program possible. Your dedication‚ generosity‚ and hard work have created an experience whose impact will extend far beyond our stay in Japan. The knowledge you shared will continue to multiply as it reaches our institutions‚ our communities‚ and the people we serve.

Finally‚ to my dear fellow participants:
Thank you for your friendship‚ your collaboration‚ your laughter‚ your different perspectives‚ and for making this journey unforgettable. Although we will soon return to different corners of the world‚ I truly believe that this is not the end of our journey together—it is the beginning of a lasting international network committed to improving water resources management and building a more sustainable future.
May we continue walking together‚ sharing knowledge‚ supporting one another‚ and working toward a world where water is managed wisely‚ equitably‚ and sustainably.
Thank you very much. Muchas gracias. Arigatou gozaimashita.
